Name of Assignment: Finance Presentation Subject: Junior Seminar Facilitator/Teacher: Coach Cassie
In Junior Seminar, we had to create a slide on a specific thing (Ex. money, credit, and other adulting things). I chose to do a slide on Credit and Debit cards. My assignment was to tell the class what credit and debit cards they should look for. I was also tasked to find the pros and cons of credit/debit cards.
This task was a good example of Financial, Economic, and Business Literacy skills. I learned more about the financial part of this skill because my part of the presentation was on Credit and Debit cards (Money). I also learned the other parts of this skill (Economic and Business Literacy) because other classmates did their slides on those topics.
I am most proud of the whole presentation itself. I presented it well to the class and I also put a lot of time and effort into making the slide look entertaining. I'm glad that I decided to put most of my time into the research part of the assignment because it helped me understand my slide more.
The task's difficult part was understanding about the whole credit and debit thing and how it works. I really understand how the debit card works because it's so simple. Credit cards, on the other hand, are a little harder to learn about as it has multiple things to them.
I can improve this work by looking at the rubric, I lost a few points for not putting my sources in my slides. Next time, I will double check the rubric to make sure I didn't miss anything important.
