What was the assignment? The assignment was to turn in 10 sketchbook drawings. For art, every quarter we turn in about 10 random sketchbook drawings. It can be anything that you want, it can be serious, funny, or just anything you're interested in. I drew a whole lot of different things for this assignment. It might have taken me a lot of time to not mess up and start over 3but it was still pretty fun and stress relieving. Why did I chose this assignment? I chose this assignment because it shows my little passion for drawing. I feel like when I draw and listen to music at the same time, I feel relaxed. I didn't really draw that good; but when it comes to drawing portraits... I'm not too good at that. But, I just wanted to showcased my little art drawings because it took some time doing these sketches. 21st century skill used: The 21st century skill that I used is communication skills. When I draw, I draw with emotion or whatever I draw showcases what I feel at the moment. Like in the pictures I put in below, the mood in those drawings were somewhat like "chilling" or "fun". Drawings sends off different vibes for me. Like a rainy drawing would mean sadness. Fire and thunderstorm drawings would be mad/angry. What challenges did I have? (Current Growth) The challenges that I had with assignment was wanting it to be perfect. I would always start a sketch then when I mess up, I rip out the page and start again. I would spend a long time on just one sketch, even though it's a small one. I would take at least 30-45 minutes. It was also hard to draw with all my dogs around. What can I do to improve? (New Growth) When I do my next 10 sketchbook drawings, I would do a few things different. First, I would probably try to go further and add some color to my drawings. I usually keep it plain; because when I color my drawings in it looks kind of messy. Secondly, I would try to do bigger sketches than I usually do. As you can see in the pictures below, the sketches are pretty small.
PS: The image download is too big so I can't upload it.
